Crafternoon: Heaven Box for Peg Saints

For those of you who didn’t see my post last week, I hosted and participated in a Catholic Saint Peg Doll Swap.

The details on how to do it are here.

But…it was awesome, and I ended up with tons of little keepsake wooden, hand painted Saints for the little girl to play with (and hopefully learn about as I try to create our little Domestic Church at home).

They were starting to be scattered everywhere so I needed to contain the Saints..haha.

Of course…I’m super nerdy, so they had to be in a special place that only Saints can live.

I decided to make a “Heaven Box”….because obviously, the Saints live in Heaven.

Anyways, I thought I would share it because it was really easy and cost effective.

I just got a cute blue/turquoise box from Target and some gray and white felt. (I suggest a fabric style box as opposed to plastic, just because the hot glue will stick much much better and won’t peel off)

Then, I cut out some clouds and the letters H-E-A-V-E-N

Hot glued them to the box…and voila: a home fit for Saints.

It’s Catholic, it’s organized, and it’s handcrafted…what more could you want?
