Crafternoon: Wedding Card Holder

Wedding season is in full force, and I’ve been all over pinterest trying to get some new ideas for DIY gifts…not to mention gifts that are QUICK and EASY to make with my schedule!

This is my latest invention.

It is very similar to the Baby Card Holder I made a while ago.

This is a modge podge creation with a little clasp ring that will hopefully serve as a great way to save special wedding cards with a simple hole punch.

  • I’m not sure how to describe these…but they are thick cardboard-like boards, hole punched (I got mine in the dollar section at Michael’s)
  • Circle ring clips (Also got at Michael’s)
  • Modge Podge
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Some lace for embellishment
  • Hot glue

Basically, I covered all sides with scrapbook paper and modge podge…printed out “wedding cards” on a piece of paper and attached it with some lace embellishment using hot glue.  There happened to be some fun pre-made words in the scrapbook paper that I used on the inside as you’ll see.

After I constructed it…I put my own wedding card in it to start it off!
